Since blogger won't let me post photos in my entries any more (or from here? maybe it's Peru's problem), I'm trying posting them from outside, but the easiest way to do that is to start a new entry and post them all at once. It bothers my sense of order that they're not all with their stories, but oh well. There's only so much online fiddling I'm willing to do.

Hi Helen! Just wanted to say hi and I hope everything continues to go well. I like how you took an "excursion" to Barranco. That's like me taking an "excursion" to Rockridge. :) Anyways, I lived about 2 blocks from the puente where you're standing. You should go there on Friday nights. They grill up anticuchos (which are only so so and you may want to avoid if you are wary of food safety issues.) BUT they also have the local cooking academy (I think?) selling all these tortas and other pastries. Yummy.
Oh, and did you guys end up going to Astrid y Gaston after the wedding?
Ok, off to read more posts.
